Gissell is an active member in the industry, serving on the Sales Advisory Board at HSMAI. And held the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Colwen Hotels where she led the sales function for the company. Prior to joining Atrium Hospitality, she served in area and regional roles leading sales teams with Starwood Hotels and TPG Hospitality.

She created the first centralized inbound RFP team for Starwood Hotels (Starwood Meetings Line), which she took from pilot stage into a $50M inbound operation. Gissell started her career in sales as a convention service manager and work her way up in hotels through catering and group sales, Director of Sales & Marketing and in Customer Contact Centers. She helps the sales team focus on optimizing financial results, particularly in group, negotiated transient and catering. Gissell leads the sales organization’s strategic and tactical initiatives. He has two Civil Engineering degrees, a Masters from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and a Bachelors from The Cooper Union. Seth graduated with honors from NYU School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. Seth was twice appointed to serve on Connecticut’s Commission on Economic Competitiveness. He has also served as a general counsel for Connecticut’s largest real estate developer. For five years he was Vice President of Corporate Real Estate for a multinational manufacturing company, overseeing all real estate business and legal matters for over 150 plants, research facilities, warehouses and offices in 30 countries. Seth practiced with the international law firm of Coudert Brothers (now Baker McKenzie). Seth has also consulted to other major companies in areas of hospitality and real estate, including economic incentives.

Seth’s 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry includes 17 years as lead real estate attorney for Starwood Hotels, where he was also business leader for Starwood’s residential branding business and headed Starwood’s corporate real estate department. Seth leads Atrium’s Legal department managing the company’s day to day legal affairs with a priority focus on support of Atrium’s real estate & capital investment related projects. Anneliesse is a graduate of Cornell University, and also completed post-graduate work in Business Administration at the University of Houston. Anneliesse began her career in operations, working with several companies such as Doubletree Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, and Four Seasons Hotels, gaining experience in the areas of Rooms and Sales before finding that her passion was in Human Resources. Prior to her 8 years with Marriott, she worked with White Lodging Services Corp in several capacities, from Director of Talent Acquisition, to Area Director of HR and Corporate Director HR. Anneliesse brings over 25 years of experience to the role, most recently serving as Vice President HR on the Caribbean & Latin America team for Marriott International. He studied at Georgia Institute of Technology before earning an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Georgia State University.Īs the leader of Human Resources for Atrium, Anneliesse’s role is to develop and execute people strategies in support of our overall business objectives, encompassing the areas of talent management, succession planning, organizational capability, learning & development, and total rewards. Prior to joining IHG in 2000, Chris started his career with Bristol Hotels & Resorts working in a variety of positions.

Chris Joined in 2020 after working for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) for more than 18 years with his most recent role being the vice president operations finance, Americas for IHG where he had direct responsibility for the short-term and long-term operating and financial analysis for hotels and resorts under IHG’s nine brands. In addition, he will lead the development and integration of analytical solutions that concentrate on the evaluation and improvement of Atrium’s financial performance. His focus is on developing and executing strategies that continue to advance Atrium’s corporate and property accounting and finance platforms. Chris’s primary responsibilities include oversight of the corporate and hotel accounting, treasury, tax, payroll, IT and procurement platforms for Atrium’s portfolio of assets under management.
